Goa is the most sort destination by tourist and hence a lot of care has been taken by the Goa Government to ensure tourist safety .
Police patrols are stationed at all prime tourist spots to assist the "spirited" tourist. The beach area's too are secured with highly qualified life guards, who take watch at all times of the day.
Ladies, always remember to dress modestly and never warm up to strangers over a drink.
Goan's are know for their hospitality and are fun loving and friendly, but abuse to any of their guest in any form is strictly dealt with, be it from foreigners or locals.
Do not ignore the life guard warnings on any beach in Goa.
Drugs and flesh trade is a strict NO! The Law of the land has to be respected.
Keep Goa clean and use the dust bins and paid toilets provided by the government.
It's wise to use your debit/credit cards instead of hard cash for big purchases.
Follow your instincts and enjoy Goa at it's best in December.
