WHAT'S IN FOR ME!

This is the first thought that would cross anyone's mind while any business or pleasure trip to Goa. The very fact that the lush green paddy fields and the rains  pattering on the window pane  is a experience of a life time.
As you move around  North Goa  along the coastal belt from Calangute, the famous tourist hot spot to the Ashviem and Arambol the journey gets even better in the monsoons.
Does the beach  wear a desolate look? who said so? Be sure of spirited tourists and businessmen unwinding during this particular season along the coast. No one out here is really interested in what you are doing or who you are, in short  you could have your privacy and some quite time, sipping your whisky, beer or any drink of your choice which is easily available throughout the season in Goa.
For those who enjoy their whisky or rum the rains will surely set in the right mood for you. Try the local alcoholic drink "feni" which is very stiff and famous and has made quite a impression with the European tourists for it's very strong  and hits you real hard with just one small shot. If you are a non vegetarian than also try the Goan sausage dish along with  beef and pork vindalo which compliments the drink and the weather.
Transports ideally would be a taxi or self driven car or a bike which is easily available at the "Rent a car and Bike" outlets all over Goa.
The deals during monsoons are really reasonable compared to the summer and winter season. The documentations are no real issue and one could get car or bike of their choice only valid driving license is mandatory, international license is accepted but one needs to clarify the same from the reception desk of the hotel you are put up in.
